Room Tour: FAQ

Today I am uploading the longest awaited video to my YouTube channel: my room tour! I wanted to do a post accompanying this video to answer any questions you may have while watching the video.

Here’s the video if you haven’t seen it yet:

Before I get on to where everything is from, let’s start with an FAQ:

1. How old are you?
I’m currently 19 and finishing up my second semester of college.

2. Why don’t you live at home/at a dorm/etc.?
My school doesn’t have any housing on campus (and even if I did, I don’t know if I’d survive dorm life). I commuted last semester, but my school is about an hour from my parent’s house each way, and it got to be too time consuming and difficult.

3. When did you move? Who are you living with?
I moved in January and I’m living with three other girls who are graduating college in a few days! They’re really awesome and we’ve become good friends.

4. How do you make money to support yourself/pay for your room/school/etc.?
As mentioned in the video, I’m currently working almost full time while I’m a full time student. I’ve had a job since I was 16 so I’ve been able to save up money, as well. I also make money from my YouTube videos. Because of all of this, I’m able to support myself completely as well as paying for my school on my own. I definitely work very hard for it, though!

Now, on to the room/video info:

Introduction & Goals

I have been a beauty and fashion vlogger for 5+ years, and although I still love it and I’m sure it will always be my #1, I decided it was time to make a blog to accompany my channel. I follow a lot of fashion and beauty blogs already and I’ve been very inspired.

What I Hope Comes From This:

I love writing, and I’m hoping that this will provide an additional outlet for me to share my love of beauty and fashion through writing. I’m also hoping that I can build this blog to something that I can be proud of. I want this blog to back up my YouTube channel with posts that further explain some of my videos, but also I’m hoping to have some different content that may not work as well in a video setting.

My Personal Blogging Goals:

1. Keep up with this blog – post at least once a week.

2. Make this blog something that I’m proud of.

3. Have fun with this!

I’m really excited about this new journey and if any of you have any ideas for blog posts you’d be interested in seeing, please feel free to let me know! I want this blog to be another way for me to interact with all of you.
